用Wi-Fi 下載十多分鐘的Podcast 是件苦事，差不多等了十幾分鐘仍是下載中，哎！只好怪我只能用802.11b 的wi-fi 了。

I use 802.11b wi-fi at work as well, but downloading things at HP lab here is still in terms of MBps…how big are 15 minute podcast files anyway?

Unless you got a VERY POOR connection with your home wireless router, otherwise the slow peformance has nothing to do with wifi, but rather the connection between your ISP and the foreign server. Theoretically 11b already provide enough bandwidth for most broadband connection.

Indeed the podcast I subscribe (SETI podcast) is length from 40-60Mins, the average file size is around 10MB only.

個file 是足本MP3，128 kbps，44.100 khz，成13.9 MB 呀。

Podcast MP3 用33 kbps (VBR)，11.025 khz 都夠啦。

我發覺一download Podcast 就可用慢到嘔來形容，可能是對方的問題吧。
