看到拙劍園園主將Lost 比喻為Lord of the flies，我看畢整個season I，可以說截至season I 為止，故事並不如Lord of the flies 那樣為奪取執政權而互相殘殺，因為現時Lost 主要探討的不是人性，而是空難背後的「迷」。
未有season II 之前，只能「心裡心裡有個迷」。
另外，Lord of the flies是1954 年出版，很諷刺的是，此書在出版前曾被二十家出版社拒絕，即使圖書出版了，也沒有即時被大眾賞識，一直到六十年代才被大學生和高中生追捧和引起公眾注意。中五那年的其中一份英文讀書報告就是用了Lord of the flies，所以可以「如數家珍」。

Lost is no way as dark as lord of the flies, ok so there are quite a lot of other adverse plots surfacing towards the end (like boy got kidnapped), however it’s not dark
