因為AMK 的Anson 到訪和網友Guy 提到AMK的唱片，想在這裡播一播AMK的歌，仿傚iTMS 的iTunes Essentials，先放一些易聽/入門的出來。得到這張EP Boxset過程很神奇，在收音機聽到吹波糖政治，喜歡到不得了，當時還是初中生，零用錢不用多，沒有錢買碟，幾年後在Netvigator 的Newsgroup 談音樂，說起這張唱片，有位網友自問不懂欣賞，「竟然」慷慨地用郵寄方式送給我，多年後的今日，我仍很感謝這位網友(儘管已失去聯絡)，他的網名是AK47。

Nine Inch Nails 新碟的幾首歌 ，試聽了一下，感覺不錯，尤其是 Everyday is exactly the same 和 All the love in the world 繼承了 The Fragile 的風格，比較靜態，帶點 Atonal 的元素，很合我的口味[IMG]

I remember a long time ago when I have brought the Kula Shaker “Govinda” single (before the album K was out), none of my mates knew what the lyrics was, and it sounded astonishingly much like “Open V.a.g.i.n.a. gina, Open…” (I’m sorry for the rudeness)

I see, thanks for telling me. They all sounded really good (I mean the musicians). Also, Apocalyptica tours with Metallica sometimes, saw them in a festival once (Download in UK) playing before Metallica, who was headlining.
Speaking of songs, I have uploaded songs onto my radio…although should really be revising, I am doomed

When I was in boarding school (about 10 years ago) we used to have a HUGE poster of Jimmy page holding a double neck guitar (most likely playing “stairway to Heaven”) in our dormitary and we as guitarists worship that poster…sounds stupid, but I will still do it
The violin version is good
, the only thing missing was the solo, which I felt was a pity.

If I remembered right, it was the last episode, sometime when the main female protagonist found out that she will die from cancer, there’s some string music as background, and it’s the verse of “Stairway to Heaven”.

Thank you first Nikita for uploading the four songs, I certainly enjoyed it.
Mmmm…judging from the four songs, seems to me that Trent is going back to his old days, put electronica first and less distorted guitar sonunds. The four songs, music wise, are softer even than some songs in ‘The Fragile’, however I do like them because it’s more like how he used to make his music, the songs’ arrangements are certainly better, it’s more natural, flow better, and less showing off.
The first two songs are ‘The Fragile’ like whilst the last two sounds mysteriously like dance tunes (probably because of their beats). The lyrics are much softer than before (compared to Downward Spiral anyway). Trent had moved on, which I think is good. I think I will buy this album rather than downloading it from BT :p

I actually quite like the fragile, because he’s trying out different things, and NOT relying on the formula he had for downward spiral, which is good, but I know alot of die hard NIN fans don’t like the fragile either, and same goes to this new album.
I’m still contemplating Tool, so better get back to it (and my exams of course). Thank you again

The Fragile 跟 A Downward Spiral 我都覺得很不錯，不過可能是先入為主的關係，我是喜歡 The Fragile 多一點的。(Downward Spiral 是我最後買的一張大碟。)

I have just ordered this box set from Amazon last week. It is 2nd hand. It has not yet arrived. Hope I can receive it safely.

I used to have My Bloody Valentine’s “Loveless”. I found it rather boring and sold it. The songs by AMK above does not sound like My Bloody Valentine to me.
I think the song 黑色莎莎 from AMK’s other album is an excellent Post Punk song and reminds me of Joy Division. Listening to the song 黑色莎莎 is like travelling in a speeding car, 好風馳電掣 feel. The syn riff is fantastic.
Love will Tear us Apart by Joy Division also has brilliant syn riff and 風馳電掣感覺 (because of the drums).

我有戴恩玲隻碟的電台promotional copy，在某電台樓下個「果皮箱」找到，甚至寫到明係比邊個dj既（係邊個就唔方便講），入面有查理的天使既AMK remix。Rare track，等我睇睇點樣響我個blog度stream。

yes, the quality of the amk songs are not good. i will redo the encoding later. when i started the website, i have limited storage. so i encode the rm not in full quality. now i have a lot of storage. so, mp3 on the blog’s loading music category, are in pretty good quality now.
the Flash Filter Plus is nice, after i change my sound blog to word press, i will try it, this is the tested version on iblog http://www.soundmarking.net
